Rendering of the Pioneer: a black 20 ft container home with a timber-clad entry, a glazed door and a small deck, on a gravel site below a mountain at duskRendering

Pioneer

Entry-level container home, 20 foot

One box, one room, everything in it. The least expensive way to put a finished home on ground you already own.

Starting at$62,500

Starting price covers the conversion as it is drawn. Delivery, site work, foundations, utility connections and upgrade packages are quoted for your site.

A single 20 ft container with a full bathroom at the closed end, a kitchen run down one wall, and the rest left as one room. It is the size of a generous hotel suite, laid out by somebody who expects you to live in it rather than stay a weekend.

This is the model people buy as a guest house, as a rental on land they already have, or as the first thing on a piece of ground they are not ready to build on yet. It is expandable, so it can be the first container rather than the only one.

What it includes

  • Off-grid ready
  • Expandable
  • Full bathroom
  • Kitchen run with sink and cooktop
  • Compact footprint, one open room
